The Challenge:
To create an oasis in a low lying, wet area with poor drainage. This is to include many areas of enjoyment both for large entertaining and small quaint areas to unwind, areas of activity and areas of daily use.
The Solution:
A landscape design to incorporate many different aspects of the client's needs. Through use of materials, plantings and use of overall space, one is enticed to move throughout the landscape with a feeling of exploration.
Overall Effect:
Within natures surroundings, the estate is a design success; from preservation of mature trees to turning a flooded area into areas of use by directing water into a pond and combining areas for a large amount of entertainment, to keeping the area enjoyable for a family to call it "home".
