Crew Leader
Responsibilities include:
- Planting
- Leaf and weed clean up
- Installation of multi-level brick patios, walkways using brick, stone tile, and flagstone, retaining walls, lighting, waterfalls, and water features
Must have knowledge and skills in the following areas:
- Laying of a brick pattern
- Transit - must know how to use and read
- Ability to read a blueprint
- Trustworthy enough to be left alone on a job
- Have the work done efficiently and with good quality
- Leave the job neat and orderly at the end of the day
- Chauffeur's drivers license
- Left alone on a job for one or two days with little or no supervision. One Project Manager per day
- Ability to fill out required paperwork
- Excels in reading a blueprint and transit
- Ability to tackle small jobs with zero Project Manager supervisor
Complete knowledge and skills on safety features and operation of the following equipment:
- Compactors
- Sod cutter
- Brick saw
- Chainsaw
- Blower
- Hedge Trimmers
- Edging machine
- Drive Bobcat
- Load a truck
- Drive Kubota
